Viva la Electronica presents Steven Beyer at the end of the Sophistic Showcase month. What started out as a slight interest, the sense of the straightforward and the inspiration of stylized 4/4 time turns into an entity through strict improvement and self-improvement.
All or nothing.
His history begins in Potsdam as a classical DJ. Clear and structured ideas of how he sees things slowly bring him forward piece by piece.
Whatever he touches he does right and emerging from the perfectionistic successful man is more and more potential, all dedicated to electronic music, whether as DJ or producer.
It is always with a pinch of extravagance that he mixes technoid elements, driving beats and groovy interludes to a style made up of groovy techno, minimal and house.
All that coupled with a pair of muffled vocals gives rise to a very special musical experience that has enriched many an event.
He releases his tracks on different labels such as Tendenzen freier Entfaltung (TfE), Aspekt or Lordag Records. One release, for example "Four in one Pocket ep" on 12" entered the playlists of permanently established greats such as Troy Pierce, Perc or Oscar.
Professionalism requires going down one's own path that is subject to continual influence and must be flexible.
It is with this professionalism that Steven Beyer becomes an established great through a success that is 100% self-made.
Needless to say, it is not over, for who has had enough when there's more to be had?
He has made plans to continue on his own way. His slogan for the future is to move forward and not stand still.
A satisfying portion of excellent music - that's what the name Steven Beyer stands for.

After a successful start in Miami on the Winter Music Conference in march 2007 we decided to start a World-Club-Tour through all continents of the world. Inspired by the sun, the beach and the atmosphere of Miami Beach we decided to communicate that feeling of a fantastic event to everyone who is a friend of electronic music. We try to catch the mute and the feeling of the tour and put it into a 60 minutes show each second week with all famous artist from all over the World. We find Livesets.com as host and partner for the Viva la Electronica Show. LiveSets.com is one of the world's largest online dance communities with over 100,000 registered members. We started out as a liveset trading place for music fanatics, but we've grown a lot since. For many years now, we've been running our own online radio station, where we broadcast the newest sets around, 24/7. Next to that, we have live radio shows every day, live broadcasts from events around the globe and radio specials, where we re-live events exclusively recorded by the LiveSets recording team. Every Friday we have a show called: 'A tribute to...' where we play sets from one particular artist, club or event all day and night. On our portal we provide news articles concerning the global dance scene. Starting August 2006, we also provide an OnDemand audio service, where visitors can listen to an extensive selection from our recording database.
